Different peoples designing their blog and website by using different techniques and methods. Some are using unique designing methods in order to make their blog and website unique and to distingwish it from other. In the past most of the people who owns blog and website, the Rss icon, in these blogs or websites, was placed at top of the site or blog. But believe me that really I was one of the first to recommend to all of them displaying an RSS icon below single posts, and now interestingly much all blogs do that. And are acting upon my advise, therefore, it is very interesting for me.
In fact it is a logical thing after all. In most of the times, as it is a common practice that, visitors will come to your site via search engines or via referral links. And they will only read the article they are looking for and move on. In most cases these readers are missing the RSS icons that you have kept on the header or on top of the sidebar of your blog or website. But on the other hand if you place a message at the bottom of each post, in this way you will encouraging visitors to subscribe. And in this way you might capture their attention and convince them to grab your feed. Most of my blog post reader are asking the question that could they work as efficiently on the bottom of single posts? My answer to this question is that I hope that they could. Therefore, I decided to test it out on my blogs. And its results were pretty amazing.
The main reason behind this is that most of the readers will only read the post in which they are interested and then they will move to other search results. As the RSS icon is placed at the top of your blog or on the side bare of your blog, therefore, in most cases it is not able to attract the attention of most readers to put some feedback. Therefore, I once again suggest to all of my loyal reader to put your RSS icon below each and every post items, in this way it work best as compared to other places, like on the top and sidebare.
