Get familiarity with HTML and CSS, and Six Reasons Why You Should Learn about it

In fact the basic knowledge of HTML is very necessary for the peoples who own a blog or website. It works for a website just like the blood is working in our body. It is very important for bloggers and websites owners to get some idea about the A, B and C of HTML. I think that with out a proper knowledge of HTML they will not be in the position to update and design their blogs and websites. In fact I had been involved with web designing for about two years before I ever started blogging. According to my opinion and as I think, being able to work with the code of a blog is a very big advantage that many bloggers choose not to pursue.
The basic knowledge of HTML has many advantages for bloggers and website owners. Aside from the designing aspect of creating an attractive blog, being able to work with the coding will allow you to make some useful and important changes and also make some useful adjustments to your blog any time you want, rather than relying on a professional to do it for you, or rather than just limiting yourself to what’s available with the theme you have chosen. In the most simple words, HTML will not only help you to create and design the most attractive blog or website, but it will also help to make some needed changes and adjustments when ever you need to it. And you will be able to do it by yourself, and you will not rely on other for this purpose.
As we know that most of the blogs need customization from time-to-time. Therefore, those blogs and websites owners who has no experience with HTML or CSS this be a bit intimidating. But, if you’re working with WordPress you will only need the basic knowledge of HTML in order to make many of the customizations that you would like, and you don’t even need to know PHP in most cases. And those who aren’t comfortable with PHP they just need to be able to recognize it and avoid it when making changes to the HTML.
As i think and suggest that, it is very important for most of the bloggers and website owners to pursue a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Basically it is a two coding languages that are relatively easy to learn. Here i have given some of the important reasons for you to give some of your valuable time to learn more about HTML and CSS because it will definetly help you in the future for needed changes.
1 – Saves you money
The first advantage in my opnion is that if you are paying someone else to make the needed changes to your blog or website or to design your theme that you need, you could save some money if you learn how to do these things yourself. Even after gaining some knowledge you may still want to pay for a professional theme or for some more advanced work. But keep in mind that many of the common changes made by bloggers can be don very easily without requiring a lot of skill and experience.
2 – Opens up new opportunities
The second advantage as i think is that if you’re relying on others to do the work for you, or for other themes to include the elements, to your blog or website, that you want, you’ll never be able to take advantage of all of the ideas that you would like to be able to implement at your blog. By gaining some knowledge about HTML and being able to work with the code you can put your ideas into practice quickly with little investment.
3 – Upgrading WordPress
The third advantage that HTML have for blogger and website owner is that in case, if you’ve been using WordPress for a while you have probably had to go through the process of upgrading, or else you have been putting it off out of fear of potential complications. While upgrading shouldn’t cause any trouble, you’ll probably have much more confidence if you are comfortable with the files involved and not so afraid of a minor issue arising. In case if you’re avoiding the upgradation of your blog or website for a long-period of time, then you are taking serious security risks. But there are also some bloggers and website owners that don't upgrade their blogs immediately due to the issues of stability. Most of them consider the stability is the most important to them, therefore, they are not making any changes on immediately basis.
4 – Working with plugins
The fourth and the most important benefits to using WordPress is the availability of a huge number of great plugins. But keep in your mind that not all of them are simple to install and put into action, therefore, they can't be installed in simple way. Some plugins will require you to make some minor changes to one or more of the files, which can be a difficult task if you’re not comfortable with the files in the first place. In addition to installing plugins, you may run into bugs from time-to-time with different plugins, and again, knowing a bit about the code can really help to get these problems fixed quickly.
5 – Changes to sidebar
The next and fifth advantage of HTML is that you will be able to make some important changes to the side bar of your blog or website. Whether you want to change your entire theme of your blog and website or not, you will need to bring some minor changes to your sidebar every now and then. Widgetized themes make some modifications possible without editing the code, but you’re not completely able to do whatever you want with widgets. Sidebar changes, therefore, can make a big difference to the usability and effectiveness of your blog. Therefore, you may want to experiment and test with some different choices. By bringing some changes in the sidebar files you can quickly and easily make sizable improvements to your blog.
6 – Get creative
As I have seen on the interned that most bloggers and website owners are only interested in the habite of just publishing posts. If you’re able and willing to get involved with the code there is really no limit to what you can do with your blog. Just about anything is possible if you’re willing to take the time to learn. Therefore, the basic knowledge of HTML is necessary for every blogger and website owner, for making some important changes in their blogs and webistes. Without the familiariy with HTML you can't bring any changes to your blog or website. Once you get familiar with HTML, you will be able to design and upgrade your blog and website, with unlimited changes.
Learn about HTML and CSS:
If you’re already have some familiarity with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and you’re interested in learning more about how WordPress works, the codex is filled with useful information. There are some useful materials in these articles that you may want to check out. It consist of Using WordPress Themes, Theme Development, CSS for WordPress, and a collection of articles on Lessons on Customizing Template Files.
In addition to the above useful resources, fortunately, there are plenty of other useful places to learn about HTML and CSS. The other advantage is that all this process will go online. In these online resources one of the most popular tutorial and learning sites is W3 Schools, which has a number of different tutorials. In addition to the w3 school, there is also other sources as well including the HTML Dog, that is very much worth your time. And About.com also has a decent section on HTML and CSS.
Similarly if you have more interest in books, then Visual Quickstart Guide: HTML, XHTML and CSS is a good place to start. In addition to these books, there are  two other books,of my favorite, on CSS are CSS Mastery and Bulletproof Web Design, although both assume a basic knowledge of CSS. In the same way  Blog Design Solutions is another good choice for WordPress users, although parts of the book are dedicated to other blogging platforms. By using the above sources and materials you would be able to get some useful information from these links, as i suggested to all of my visitors. By gainging some of the knowledge you will be able, at least, to make some useful changes in your blogs and websites. Similarly you will not rely on others professionals to make these changes for you in your blog or website. By doing so, you can also save your money and you will not be dependent on other, but will be on your self.
