Today I want to share some of my experience about Monetize tab. I am sharing this information because I have searched a large number of websites but no one was able to meet my requirements. And the other reason for sharing this information is that several loyal visitors of my blog have sent a large number of messages and asked for help about sharing this valuable information. In fact, in case of Blogger, the Monetize tab in makes it easy to enable AdSense ads on your blog. Once you have enabled it, Blogger will retrieve your AdSense earnings data directly from AdSense. Therefore you will not need to go to AdSense to get your basic earnings information. This tab will provide all information related to your earning from your adsense account.
AdSense Reports
When you have singed up for adsense and after one or two days you want to know about your adsense earnings, then you will need to click on Monetize tab. As you click on this tab you will see a few tab like Adsense Report, Remove adsense ads, etc. Once you start generating AdSense impressions, you will begin earning money when people click on ads that show on your site. The earning of you ads depends upon the daily traffic of your blog, if you have more visitors and they click on your ads that are shown on your blog, as a result your earrings will be more. Similarly if you have a small number of visitors and a small number of visitors click on your ads shown on your blog as a result your earrings will be less.
If you are already an AdSense user, you will notice that Blogger created a new channel (with the URL of your blog) in your account. If you have had AdSense ads on your blog before using Blogger’s AdSense integration to insert ads into your blog, it is important to note that All time will retrieve data only from the time you connected Blogger to your AdSense account.

Terminology
There are different terms that are used in the blogging world. But most bloggers, especially new bloggers, have no idea about thes terms. But it is important for bloggers to know about these terms. Because without these basic terms a blogger can be called a successful blogger. As we know that AdSense report is visible from the Monetize tab that contains several basic information about how many ads have run on your blog, how many clicks were generated, and how much revenue you have earned. Each term in the report is defined below. But keep in mind that these terms are used specifically for free blogger.
Page impression: In simple words a page impression is the number of time a visitor of your blog or website view your blog or website Google ads. In other words a page impression is generated every time a user views a page displaying Google ads. We will count one page impression regardless of the number of ads displayed on that page. In order to understand this concept very carefully it is necessary to give an example. Because with example a concept become easy to understand. Therefore, i want to give a simple example here. For example, if you have a page displaying three ad units and it is viewed twice, you will generate two page impressions and six ad unit impressions. Therefore page impression largely depends upon your daily blog or website traffic. If you have a large number of visitors your page impression will be more and if you have a small number of daily blog or website visitors your page impression will be automatically low. The result is clear, as the number of page vewers increases the page impression will also increase.
Clicks #: The concept of number of click is also very simple and can be easily understand. The number of times an ad was clicked on in the given reporting period. For example if ads displayed on your blog is clicked once, twice or more so its number will be added for a particular period of time. For example if hundred clicks are made in a day or week or month so it will be your number of clicks in that particlur period.
Page CTR (Clickthrough Rate): CTR is Click thorough Rate. It is calculated in a very simple method. The number of ad clicks divided by the number of impressions for the page of ads that appears when a link unit is clicked. And when you made this caculation the result will be in your front.
Page eCPM (Effective Cost Per Thousand Impressions): The eCPM is Calculated by dividing earnings by number of page impressions and multiplying. This makes it easier to compare multiple sites to see which are performing better.
Earnings: The earning represent the total revenue earned to date. For example in a particular day, week, month or more. So it represent that how much revenue you have earned in that particular time period. Those visitors who want more detail about earnings please click on the link given all information about earnings is also available in the AdSense Help Center.
